The Timko family was the hotel host for years. Everything from weddings, viewings, great Christmas trees, and dining entertainment all took place within this room.

In the first half of the last century the head of the entire movie theater chain of Philadelphia would come here to the Grand Midway Hotel for his escape vacations.

This room looked like this when the hotel was first built, 1890-1910. The French doors had not been cut into the walls yet at this time.
